the magic, medicine,and mayhem of mid-life + (peri)menopause
an exploration + experience designed to support your unique journey.
with Danielle Cohen
The wisdom + brilliance of menopause is a disruptive force to the status quo.
An initiation into our wise selves.
A psychedelic spiritual adventure.
A portal to our power years.
And our culture is not exactly designed to support, resource, or celebrate the liminal, mysterious, maturation process of (peri)menopause.
So no wonder so many of us struggle and suffer.

Are you there God?* Itโs us again.
A little older, a lot wiser, and once again confused by the cultural messages and seemingly inherent messiness of being in this body.
Peri-menopause (around menopause) and midlife,
very often stir up all kinds of physical, emotional, relational, vocational, financial, and spiritual chaos, confusion, and even crisis.
But thatโs not all the menopause journey brings.
Menopause is not just a set of symptoms to manage or struggle with.
Menopause is not just a sign of, or a process of decline.
Menopause is not a disease to cure.
Menopause is not just something to get through!
Itโs a real-deal magical initiation that will galvanize, fortify, and embolden us to make the second half of our lives our best years yet. (Yep, I said that).
Itโs time to reclaim the brilliance of menopause.
Itโs time to leverage the potency of (peri)menopause to refine and recalibrate your life.
There is a revolution happening inside of us, and revolutions are not intended to happen in isolation.

Menopause isnโt new, but the length of our lifespans have extended and the old model of maiden, mother, crone โ no longer quite fits.
This liminal time of leaving childbearing years but not yet fully embodying the old woman or crone years, is in and of itself a miraculous and remarkable life stage that can last more than a decade, and is worthy of honoring and and making meaningful.
Some refer to Menopause as the โChange-of-Lifeโ and thereโs real truth in those words โ most of us who are standing at, walking toward, or on the other side of the threshold of Menopause are called to sit with deep considerations or big shifts, few of which seem to have anything to do with no longer menstruating. We often need or yearn to make vocational, relational, financial, spiritual, or personal changes.
Menopause is a holy, sacred, embodied journey.
Within this context, we require spaces where we can be in authentic conversation with each other so that we may become resourced instead of depleted and root into the selves weโre becoming.
Coming together in this way is one of the ways we unshame and empower our menopause experience - for ourselves and the collective.
We often feel so alone but by 2025 - 1.1 BILLION people will be menopausal! Feeling alone or unseen just isnโt in the math. Letโs break the spell and write a new, life-affirming one.
We get to create a new culture of care and possibility for ourselves and the many others who will go on this journey.
Individually and collectively โ getting menopause wise, is essential to our thriving.

Those who claim the medicine of these years embody a certain power that is both enchanting and fierceโฆ
Youโve seen her Iโm sure, your head turned at the sight or sound of her presence. Youโve even occasionally been her.
Menopause is the birth process of becoming her.
โจ If you long to feel less confused and more clear about how to navigate these yearsโฆ

We will work and play with -
who we've been, who we are, and who we're becoming.
To be clear -- I am not a medical professional and this program is in no way a subsitute for medical guidance. What I am is a highly resourceful 50-year-old peri-menopausal woman who is skilled in a breadth of healing arts, and who has been on the peri-menopause journey for a long time. I have worked with, and learned from incredible healers in my life, doubling down on that over the last 10 years as I have struggled through a combo of my own health challenges + peri-menopausal journey. I have some things to share, and ways to share them (and I am confident that you do too).
I am a facilitator of circles and groups that tend to be rich in genuine connection, inclusivity, and humanity.
I do not believe we have forgotten our wise ways. What I do believe is that the culture we live in has washed them away and that when we come together it is both personally and collectively revolutionary to break the silence, come out of our silos, and refuse to journey through our life transitions in isolation. I believe (and research backs me up here) that this is how we thrive.
Some of what you will explore or get out of this offer include:
Discover and declare what archetype is calling you now. Who can be a beacon for your own becoming?
Learn why we're anchoring our work together in moon phases and how you can use this potent practice, not as woo-woo fluff but as a practical, soulful, and effective tool.
Learn what natural, alternative, and allopathic remedies and supports might help you through this transition.
Explore how your vocational call and needs are wanting to express.
Some refer to perimenopause as the "change-of-life" -- what changes support your thriving? How do you recognize and make the changes your body + spirit need?
Mid-life and menopause are a portal to what can be our power years -- what needs to die in order to cross that threshold and be born into this new time? Receive support for recognizing and honoring what needs to be shed, set down, and settled, so you can be freed up to meet your life with more ease.
Experience the healing power of peri-menopause as a way to heal and repair the untended and inevitable wounds you've experienced so far on your life journey.
Put another way... together we will:
๐ inventory and tend to our lives up until now.
๐ create a plan that supports us in the moment we are in presently.
๐ craft a vision for our power years that is inspired, and inspiring.

Peri-Menopause (peri means about or around) is a clinically (meaning symptom-based as opposed to testing-based, there is not foolproof test for perimenopause). diagnosed/named phase that begins with the onset of hormone-related changes and completes once you complete 12 months without a period. Menopause is official once you go 12 months with no. Everything after that (which is often 40% of our lives) is considered Post-Menopause.

Not everyone who goes through menopause or menstruates identifies as a woman. I welcome trans and non-binary lives. I speak from my experience as a cis-woman because itโs what I know best, and you are absolutely welcome and wanted in this program.
